
Attorney General Mark R. Herring Presents Unsung Heroes Award
Attorney General Mark R. Herring honored four Virginians with Unsung Hero Awards for their work with returning citizens. Awards were presented during a luncheon at the Statewide Re-entry Conference in Virginia Beach on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
Recognized for outstanding service to the Commonwealth of Virginia in the field of re-entry were:
- Si’Andra Blackwell, Cumberland Mountain Community Services
- Lisa Rengers, Louisa Re-entry Council
- Marshall Williams, Virginia Cares and People Inc.
- Cynthia Thompson, Garden of Hope, Inc.
The awards were presented at Future Directions in Re-entry: People Who Make a Difference.
